Corinium Whisky

For a long time I liked the 'idea' of whisky having seen my dad appreciate the odd dram on occasion... however my interest really started to grow in 2007 after I'd attended my first whisky tasting at a local shop close to where we lived at the time in Cheltenham. My curiosity grew, and since then I've become more and more interested in this wonderful spirit! 
Now I enjoy participating in numerous whisky tastings, especially those organised by Arkwrights of Highworth, Swindon and the Tweet tastings arranged by Steve Rush @TheWhiskyWire. I've also attended a few whisky festivals, and particularly enjoy the ones organised by The Whisky Lounge. I've also had the pleasure of visiting a handful of distilleries (including a Speyside tour organised by The Whisky Lounge), and plan/hope to visit many more in the months and years to come

As and when time allows (probably when my two young kids grow up a bit!) I hope to develop this site to include many tasting notes, whisky reviews, tour writes ups and other general musings
